We’ll arrange an initial consultation, and once the deposit is paid you are on my books. I know how exciting it is to see those first few shots - so I will get back a ‘sneak peek’ to your clients within 48 hours after your wedding day so that you can share with friends and family, and relive the celebrations through your honeymoon. The full gallery will arrive approximately a month after the celebrations.

It’s crucial that we’re a good fit together. I like to have a Zoom my couples, where possible. We will always have a call or Zoom pre-booking. Once the date is booked, we’ll get a date in the diary for a face-to-face appointment with you to celebrate their impending nuptials and go through your plans in real depth.

A non-refundable booking fee of 20% is required to secure the date, with the remaining balance due 4 weeks before the wedding.

I don’t give exact numbers, as I want to provide you with any and all of the shots that epitomise your celebrations. However, on average you will be looking at around 800 photographs in the finished gallery (likely more if you opt for bespoke additions such as a multi-day event or additional hours).

I have over twenty years of experience working in photography. Having studied photography in college, I then worked in photography for the corporate world as well as in forensics. I also have photography qualifications. When I decided to work on weddings, I found my passion, bringing my abilities and artistry into people’s most special events.

I love to shoot weddings abroad. Travel and accommodation costs may apply. I love to shoot weddings in Italy and France mostly, but have travelled all over the world photographing gorgeous weddings.

I think that keeping photographs as true to tone and representative of the event as possible is really important. However, I will subtly and light-handedly edit every one of yourimages, ensuring your gallery is a body of photographs that work together to tell the story.

I will always be the primary photographer. I am happy to bring additional photographers into your package and I would recommend this for couples who have over an 100 guest count, so that all guests can be captured.

I’ve done this job for a long time and this has never happened, although I understand your need to have plans in place for every eventuality. If an unforeseen emergency were to occur, I have a team of colleagues whom I could call upon to capture the event. I would then edit it as usual, in the signature Natalie Lucy style.

There’s no such thing as bad weather! I know a rainy or stormy forecast can seem daunting when a couple had been hoping for blue skies, but some of the most one-of-a-kind and dramatic weddings I’ve captured have been in ‘bad’ weather. I promise not to let the couple get too wet! We can also keep the photography timeline flexible, around other scheduled events on your timeline, so that I can keep an eye on the skies and whisk the couple out at an appropriate moment if the weather clears.

Certainly - in fact, I send out a questionnaire a few months before the big celebrations. This is the moment for you to have a think about what group shots you would like. I recommend they keep them to a minimum, to give enough time for the more candid photography and to avoid guest restlessness, but I know how important it is to have family groups captured.
